The Digital Marketing Manager is the first direct line to our followers and fans and is responsible for leading community engagement initiatives on social media and ensuring that our audience is heard, seen and celebrated. 

Our client looking for a proactive, positive and creative individual to support and grow our highly engaged online community. As our Digital Marketing Manager, you’re obsessed with social media and have your finger on the pulse of what’s trending across the web. You know what’s about to blow up on TikTok well before it makes it to Instagram Reels. You love viral memes, you’re constantly creating new content of your own and love documenting life around you. You know how to get a community riled up and engaged through value-based relationships and engagement. 

A day in the life could look like: 

  • Answering customer comments, questions, and DMs, escalating where necessary  
  • Building social networks and engaging communities of interest  
  • Capturing content and questions to help us better serve our community  
  • Measuring social media results  
  • Scheduling content across social channels and troubleshooting when appropriate  
  • Coming up with ideas and executing them daily  
  • Keeping up to date with the latest social trends & tools and bringing fresh ideas on how to use them  
  • Supporting in the creation of timely and culturally relevant, brand appropriate content optimized for platform and audience  
  • Monitoring platforms for content opportunities and initiating conversations  
  • Analyzing, tracking, and measuring performance against OKRs and reporting on results  
  • Refining our creative process and editing videos 
  • Working closely with our client and the marketing team to execute projects and ensure all activities are coordinated, well thought-out and maximized to help produce results.  
  • Willing to travel with our client and serve in a personal assistant role for our client's team 


We’d love it if you: 

  • 1 - 2 years of experience managing social media communities for brands in the personal development space, preferably in an agency setting  
  • Have documented experience with managing communities on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok  
  • Produce quality work and excel in video editing 
  • Enjoy writing for social and know how to position creative and content to drive engagement  
  • Know the difference between there/their/they’re and cringes at misplaced apostrophes  
  • Are reliable and resourceful and know how to manage your time so that deadlines are met and followers are responded to promptly  
  • Are a team player who is goal oriented and thrives with a fast-paced, remote team of positive people  
  • Are self-sufficient and don’t require (or desire) micro-management  
  • Possess research skills to determine the best approach as it relates to social media platforms, content distribution channels and optimal link building opportunities  
  • Experience with social tools and analytics such as Facebook Insights, Hootsuite and Google Analytics are a plus  
  • You're a forward-thinking, an expert at follow-through, a quick and creative problem solver, and a self-starter. 
  • You love organization, implementing effective and efficient systems, and thrive in a very fast-paced, make-it-your-own environment. 

Additional Information

Preferred Full Time Role, open to part time candidates. 

Hours and Location:

Remote or Hybrid in St. Petersburg, FL.  Exact hours are flexible, especially for highly effective candidates. While working remote, quiet location with no background noise is immensely preferred.
