Job Description

You will be the first point of contact for vulnerable clients and their families - approaching them with the utmost discretion, professionalism and warmth.

You will also provide excellent administrative support to highly experienced mental health practitioners and assist them in the smooth running of their practices. 

We currently have a team of outstanding administrators, most of whom have been with us for many years. We are looking for the last member to complete the team to help us make a difference in people’s lives.

There will be telephone, email and live chat enquiries from patients enquiring about counselling, psychiatry, prescriptions or passing messages to practitioners. The phone line needs to be attended to with a calm, courteous and confidential manner and emails dealt with promptly.

We will select candidates based on their long-track records of previous work history.

We offer stability to self-employed candidates thanks to a very busy work-flow that occupies us 365 days a year.

The role although rewarding, is also a demanding one, with many complex and variable tasks. Please only apply if you are a diligent candidate with relevant experience, and have superb attention to detail.

Location: Home-based (self-employed)

Pay:

£10.20 ph + commission for week days. (Double pay Bank Holidays)
£12.24 ph + commission Saturdays & Sundays

Hours:

  • Monday 4pm - 9pm 
  • Tuesday 4pm - 9pm 
  • Wednesday 8am - 10am
  • Friday 1:30pm - 9pm 
  • Saturday 9am - 5pm 
  • Bank Holidays 10am - 4pm

Plus ad-hoc holiday/sick leave at other hours as and when required.

The hours are fixed and are long-term.

Start: Immediate

Qualifications

  • You have previously worked in the medical sector (preferably)
  • You are technically savvy and able to easily use different cloud-based systems
  • You have a minimum typing speed of 50wpm
  • You will need a home-office set up since the position is entirely remote-based (fast internet connection, computer with good audio to make and receive calls)
  • You are loyal, able to stay for the long term and become part of the practice’s expansion.
