Job Description

Wolt is more than just a food delivery operation – in fact we are built upon a solid foundation of state-of-the-art technology. We’re looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional to join our “Product+” talent team, responsible for finding exceptional talent for our engineering, analytics, product management, product design and security teams. 

Our Product+ organization has grown from mere 20 people to 230+ in the space of 3 years. In the meantime Wolt has also been on a tremendous growth trajectory - in that same time we’ve grown from 5 countries to 23, a million users to 10 million, raised over 700MEUR in funding… and the list keeps going. This is your chance to be a part of building the next chapter of Wolt.

Our Product+ talent team is currently a feisty team of six working from the Helsinki HQ. Meet Severi, Petteri, Jasmin, Jenni, Noora and Laura! The roles we hire for are located mainly in our Product Hubs in Helsinki and Berlin, but we hire internationally and for remote roles across Finland, Germany, Denmark and Estonia. We work in an end-to-end model, where each recruiter owns the roles they work with, from building the recruitment strategy and building the pipeline to closing. You will be dedicated to mostly hire for Engineering, but we have openings almost across all competence areas so you can take your pick and we also make sure we have rotations to keep it interesting. This is where you come in, as we’re now ready to welcome our next team member to help us bring even more great people to Wolt, based in Finland. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work independently and autonomously to hire for the roles you’re tasked within the Engineering domain.
  • Driving exceptional quality - both in candidate experience and in your service towards your internal stakeholders. We don’t settle, we strive for excellence and do uncommon things uncommonly well at every opportunity.
  • Attract the right people for a variance of roles at Wolt: engineers, designers, analysts and product managers.
  • Bring value by being able to discuss our business, product development, values and mission with vehemence. 
  • Sourcing high-quality candidates at all levels.
  • Screen candidates in order to pinpoint the right talent to introduce to your hiring team.
  • Communicating effectively (both verbally and written) to various stakeholders, usually our department VP’s and directors, hiring managers, lead engineers and our awesome pool of interviewers. 
  • Guiding your hiring teams through the recruitment process with efficiency and finesse. Mentoring them on best practices, and supporting them in decision making.
  • Participate in other activities such as employer branding, interviewer training, onboarding of new employees and so on.


  • Previous experience in recruiting for engineer roles, proven track record of filling said roles.
  • Prior experience hiring for multiple locations is an advantage. 
  • A genuine passion to hire efficiently and effectively at scale and with high volumes.
  • Ability to work independently E2E, and think on your feet in a fast-moving environment.
  • Be able to collaborate and proactively communicate clearly both verbally and in written form with various stakeholders in English.
