Job Description

Wolt is more than just a food delivery operation – in fact we are built upon a solid foundation of state-of-the-art technology. We’re looking for several experienced tech talent acquisition professionals, across different seniorities, to join our “Product+” talent team. Currently we’re looking for people to find exceptional talent for our engineering department.

Our Product+ organization has grown from mere 20 people to 300+ in the space of 3 years. In the meantime Wolt has also been on a tremendous growth trajectory - in that same time we’ve grown from 5 countries to 23, a million users to 13 million, raised over 700 M EUR in funding… and the list keeps going. This is your chance to be a part of building the next chapter of Wolt.

Our Product+ talent team is currently a feisty team of 8 working from the Helsinki HQ. Meet Severi, Petteri, Jasmin, Jenni, Noora, Anna B, Anna J and Laura! Majority of the roles we hire for are based in our Product Hubs in Berlin or Helsinki, but we also hire remote positions in Denmark, Sweden and Estonia and do relocations to Berlin and Helsinki. We work in an end-to-end model, where each recruiter owns the roles they work with, from building the recruitment strategy and building the pipeline to closing. Our Engineering department hires the most volume, and that’s where we need you right now. You’d be hiring software developers across different domains, technologies and seniorities. This is where you come in, as we’re now ready to welcome our next team member to help us bring even more great people to Wolt!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work independently and autonomously to fill roles within the engineering department

  • Driving exceptional quality - both in candidate experience and in your service towards your internal stakeholders. We don’t settle, we strive for excellence and do uncommon things uncommonly well at every opportunity.

  • Bring value by being able to discuss our business, product development, values and mission with vehemence. 

  • Sourcing high-quality candidates at all levels.

  • Screen and sell Wolt to candidates in order to pinpoint and convert the right talent to introduce to your hiring team.

  • Communicating effectively (both verbally and written) to various stakeholders, usually our department VP’s and directors, hiring managers, lead engineers and our awesome pool of interviewers. 

  • Guiding your hiring teams through the recruitment process with efficiency and finesse. Mentoring them on best practices, and supporting them in decision making.

  • We all have our hands on side projects we feel passionate about, whether that is diversity & inclusion, employer branding, interviewer training or something else, you will also run initiatives outside operational hiring.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recruiting for technical roles, proven track record of filling such roles

  • Preferably knowledge and experience in the Finnish or German technical talent market, also international hiring experience is appreciated. 

  • A genuine passion to hire efficiently and effectively at scale and with high volumes.

  • Ability to work independently E2E, and think on your feet in a fast-moving environment.

  • Be able to collaborate and proactively communicate clearly both verbally and in written form with various stakeholders in English.
