Can you please introduce yourself?
I'm a screenwriter, playwright, novelist, ghostwriter, and business writer
What’s your profession, what do you do?
Writing
What company do you work for? Are you a freelancer or Digital Nomad?
Freelancer
How did you start with a remote work journey?
I had written a stage play that was getting some traction, and my director in New York basically said I needed to make a choice: stay in the corporate worldor get out of it, freelannce, and focus on playwriting. I chose the latter.
What do you think are the main benefits of working remotely?
Complete control over my schedule, workflow, and deadlines. And the commute from my bedroom to my office can't be beat.
I've worked in the U.S., though can do my writing from pretty much anyplace with wi-fi.
Home office.
There really weren't any to speak of. While I'm pretty much focused most of the time, my mind can wander, and I'll end up walking around the house or falling down a YouTube rabbit hole.
I manage everything in my head -- scary, but true.
Be disciplined. It's still work.
I'm a published novelist; co-wrote a non-fiction book that came out in November and am ghost-writing two more now; have written oplays that were produced in New York and regionally; and am an award-winning screenwriter.
