Jure Figar has shared his remote work success story.
Digital Marketing
Needle's Eye Media
Started by collaborating with clients from the US in 2017 when I was helping them with digital advertising (mainly through Facebook Ads).
Freedom. Flexibility. Autonomy.
Sure, social aspect, separating personal and professional life is really difficult, especially as you work from home and with different time zones.
Ljubljana (Slovenia). Singapore, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Berlin (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Phuket, Bangkok (Thailand), Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Dubai, Italy, Croatia, Mexico, etc.. I really enjoyed Singapore and Croatia.
Home (if stable wifi :)) perhaps also co-working space.
USA, South America (traveling there tomorrow :)), Canada.
Setting my tasks a week in advance and prepare sticky notes with to-dos at the end of each day for the next working day. Focusing on one project at a time. Meaning, I only work on one project (i.e. Chrome, Slack, Asana, etc.) is only based on one client/project before moving on to the next.

Through an accountant.
Ask yourself if this is something in accordance with your values, there are benefits and drawbacks. But if you can be self-disciplined, autonomous, and can manage your time, it can be a great adventure.
