This exiting position is responsible for the design, build and implementation of BI Reporting solutions while applying best in class architectural and engineering principals in order to meet functional and non-functional requirements. The focus will be on building predictive analytics solutions and enriching client offering of BI group development of analytical features.

What you will be doing:

• Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Build data models for analytical purposes
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs utilising third party BI tools, e.g. Tableau
• Build analytical services to supplement existing BI offering for third party clients
• Have active role in preparing code for production environments

Required skills:

• Experience in development of BI content per requirements
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
• Working knowledge of Python and data structures
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience
• Exposure to statistical analysis applying different techniques like predictive modelling to interpret data and solve business problems
• Ability to think creatively, solve problems, learn quickly, handle ambiguity, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

In order to be successful in this role you need to have:

• Experience in Agile development and understanding of continuous integration/ automated testing and deployment processes
• Experience in development of reporting as a product
• Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with an enquiring mind and the ability to learn quickly
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience with BI content development (using Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik or similar)
• Expressed interest and basic understanding of Data science principles
• University Degree in STEM
