Talent Sourcing is one of many channel partners that may be leveraged in talent acquisition to ensure the best candidates are selected from diverse pools of talent. At ServiceNow, our Talent Sourcing team consists of a talented group of researchers, functional talent sourcers, and executive sourcers across the globe whose overall goal is to identify and attract individuals who don’t know yet that they want to work for ServiceNow.

We currently have an opportunity available on our Americas team for a Technical Talent Sourcer to partner across our data science teams in the region. As an expert in search techniques and candidate engagement, you will partner with hiring managers and recruiters to focus on building pipelines for data science, machine learning, and AI through proactive discovery, attraction, and engagement of prospective candidates. You'll find success through creating stronger talent pipelines, expanding our market knowledge and reach, and contributing to a keen understanding of how to best attract technical candidates across our Americas region.

Being successful in these areas begins with the following criteria:

• You know talent acquisition: 8+ years' experience in talent acquisition (experience as a talent sourcer is highly preferred, but not required)
• You understand data science: 3+ years' experience recruiting for ML/AI and other data science aligned talent (experience in SaaS or other cloud-based tech highly preferred, but not required)
• You have a genuine, demonstrable passion for creative talent sourcing: deep understanding of information discovery techniques (e.g. Boolean and semantic search) using both paid and free resources

While not required, it's great if you have experience in or passion for the following areas:

• Contributing to and/or leading efforts tied to diversity hiring initiatives
• Process and workflow efficiency: evident by understanding various resource reporting methods and consistent tracking of personal work activity + results
• Time management: use of time-saving templates, shortcuts, automation resources, etc.

Work personas

Work personas are categories that are assigned to employees depending on the nature of their work. Employees will fall into one of three categories: Remote, Flexible or Required in Office. 

Required in Office

A required in office work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office. This persona is required to work from their assigned workplace location 100% of the work week based on the business needs of their role.

Flexible 

A flexible work persona is defined as an employee who is contracted to work from or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office and will work from their assigned workplace location roughly 3 days/week or less (generally around 40-60% of the work week). Flexible employees may choose to work the remaining working time from their workplace location or home. Flexible employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.

Remote

A remote work persona is defined as an employee who performs their responsibilities exclusively outside of a ServiceNow workplace and is not contracted or aligned to a ServiceNow-affiliated office, including those whose place of work (pursuant to their terms and conditions of employment) is their home. Remote employees are required to work within their state, province, region, or country of employment.
