Due to our continued growth, we are hiring for a Talent Acquisition Specialist on our Shared Service team. This will be a remote flexible position but the candidate must be open to working on EST hours.

Job Description

Mission:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for the full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced and growing environment. You should be a skilled in-house or agency recruiter with the ability to source and select candidates, partner with leaderships teams on TA strategy, and develop talent pipeline using various tactics, like social recruiting and employee referrals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute an overall recruiting strategy consistent with EEOC best practices to the assigned business units of the company
  • Perform job and task analysis to update and document job requirements and objectives for each position
  • Partners with direct hiring managers to understand and interpret talent needs and requirements, present shortlisted candidates to hiring managers and provide detailed profile summaries.
  • Network and source potential passive candidates from various online channels, databases, social media, career and professional platforms, including LinkedIn.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process through the offer to onboarding
  • Translate job descriptions and craft job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards and internal postings
  • Screen resumes and applications in alignment with the job requirements and necessary skills and competencies
  • Interview candidates to assess if candidates are a match to qualifications, cultural fit and compatibility
  • Counsel the candidate and promote company’s employee offerings, corporate benefits, salary, and corporate environment
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting velocity reports and recruiting metrics including number of candidates interviewed and hired, time-to-fill, time-to-hire, and source of hire.
  • Attend college career fairs (once available), build relationships with college career services, tech job fairs and host in-house recruitment events
  • Participate in employment branding initiatives and other talent acquisition projects
  • Support HR team and assist Talent Acquisition Manager with additional TA responsibilities/projects as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an HR related field or equivalent work experience preferred; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience as a successful full cycle corporate recruiter.
  • Healthcare related, pharmaceutical or market research field preferred.
  • Proven success in sourcing passive candidates from a variety of channels.
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavior based, etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
  • Familiarity with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Smart Recruiters preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of EEOC and OFFCP regulations as related to hiring practice
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
