This is an exciting opportunity for a Staff Systems Engineer to lead a team that is contributing to the development and integration of weapons systems for ground combat vehicles. This individual will analyze and develop solutions to complex problems, and independently perform tasks critical to the success of ESA’s Ground Combat Systems’ team. And will also support substantial proposal and marketing initiatives, and perform research and development work to support long-term strategic objectives of ESA.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include leading a team in concept development, system trade-off analysis, requirements definition, architecture design, and evaluation of system performance for sensors, fire control and other lethality-related systems for land-based armored vehicles. Analytical skills should be complemented by a demonstrated ability to plan and lead system engineering activities. The individual must be able to utilize and maintain existing analytical models, develop new models, design tests, and validate performance simulations. The individual will also be directly involved in integration, test and validation activities related to weapon systems, weapons systems components and ground combat vehicles that may take place at our facilities or those of our customers and on test ranges. The individual will interface with internal and external project teams, company personnel and the customer community both in the United States and internationally.
