Job Description

Our Salesforce Administrator is responsible for design, configurations and  administration of new and existing Salesforce.com features..  You’ll help identify, prioritize, and unlock the value of Salesforce.com for the organization.

 

Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and administration of new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Managed Packages
  • Architect and optimize the Salesforce.com environment for our users
  • Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards
  • Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality, and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Partner with support teams to handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Manage and build customized solutions in Salesforce.com and associated systems that support business requirements and processes; drive system design and configuration with scalable solutions addressing potential future needs
  • Develop and maintain documentation, solutions for common user problems, and SFDC policies/procedures as required
  • Oversee the feature request/support backlog and work with the Sales Operations leadership to prioritize and execute
  • Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the system
  • Evaluating complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners.
  • Develop automation and process improvement opportunities to improve the usability, transparency and accuracy of Salesforce information for business continuity

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce and at least 2 as a Salesforce admin
  • Current Salesforce certifications for Salesforce Admin and Sales Cloud
  • Past business or Salesforce consulting experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • In‐depth knowledge of the standard capabilities of Salesforce.com and have successfully expanded on those capabilities
  • Previous re‐engineering experience updating an existing Salesforce.com configuration to provide solutions for reporting, workflows and enhanced function
  • Strong reporting background using standard Salesforce.com functionality
  • Detail oriented and self‐starter with strong written and interpersonal skill
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to quickly process complex information
