Seeking a Business Development Representative to join this well-established, growing company in the supply chain solutions industry. This person must have a clear grasp of the sales process, excellent research capabilities, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work as a team player to help set the Sales team up for success.
*This position is 100% remote with some travel
• Build prospect lists from industry research and proactively seek out new and emerging market opportunities nationwide.
• Utilize HubSpot, cold calling, LinkedIn, Lusha, and email to generate new sales leads.
• Cultivate relationships with prospects and qualify leads as realistic sales opportunities.
• Set up first appointments between qualified prospects and sales managers.
• Provide marketing and sales managers with weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
• Bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets.
• Strong communication skills via phone and email.
• Strong research skills using web-based platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Lusha, etc).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to advance within the sales team.
