Job Description

Brainrider is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Recruiter to join our team as the Talent Acquisition Lead.  

As our Talent Guru, we will look to you to champion and evolve our growing recruitment practice. You’ll be successful in this role if you love finding and matching talent with the right jobs, focus on positive results, and have an entrepreneurial spirit. 

Working closely with our People Operations Team, you will be critical to creating a seamless, scalable, efficient recruiting process to help improve our talent reach and pipeline. This role is equal parts hands-on recruiting and process improvement. We don’t take a “one Designer fits all” approach – we like to be different.

You may be a good fit for this role if you have at least 5 years of solid foundational experience as a creative recruiter, and possibly a creative or project management background yourself. The real fit will come from your desire to be part of something that’s evolving and pivoting quickly, your ability to collaborate, and a healthy level of risk tolerance and problem-solving instinct. You understand that focused baseline metrics and continuous improvements are the path to successful, sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating, measuring, and continually iterating on our talent acquisition pipeline and process to ensure we are hiring the right talent at the right time
  • Provide strategic guidance to recruitment team; including outreach, sourcing, and active networking
  • Translate client requirements for contingent workforce creative resources into compelling job descriptions that will attract the right talent
  • Develop an end-to-end recruitment process that is scalable, seamless and optimized for results
  • Managing the configuration, adoption, and effective utilization of our recruiting tools
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Bay Area job market, including salary and industry trends

Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of progressive recruitment experience in the marketing/creative services space
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing large scale projects
  • Advanced proficiency in all phases of recruitment – sourcing, assessment, relationship building, networking, negotiation, etc.
  • Technology savvy: proficient using applicant tracking systems, video conferencing, online advertising and job boards, social networking platforms, and business software
  • Genuine interest in people – their experiences, stories, and motivations
  • A well-developed professional network in the creative/marketing/agency sector
