Key Industry Executive - Wear Management Systems—Mining Segment 
 
Territory - North Bay, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Sudbury Ontario & surroundings
 
We are seeking a Self-Motivated Key Industry Executive to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience, as well as a mechanical aptitude, a basic understanding of wear mechanisms, and knowledge or experience in maintenance & repair welding.
 
Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business, in particular Mining Segment
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements of the mining industry
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions to meet their objectives with a proactive mindset
  • Develop value-based relationships with a portfolio of major mining clients and—or contractors to ensure they do not turn to competition
  • Strategic planning and implementation to improve clients bottom line using consultative selling techniques
  • Develop, service, and grow relationships with strategic channel partner
  • Ensure seamless customer service from start to finish
  • High level of conflict resolution and negotiation to maintain multi-stakeholder engagement
  • Proactively gather, analyze and report market intelligence to upper management to develop solutions aligned with end-user needs
  • Serve as a communication hub between key stakeholders

  Requirements and Qualifications

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Adequate understanding of company key clients and their position in the industry
  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field is preferred
  • Three to five years’ previous work experience in sales, management, key account management in Mining Industry, or relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
  • Solid computer skills, and experience with CRM software
  • 50% travel  within assigned territory
