Job Description

Working within the IFS Digital Marketing Team, the role of the Senior Marketo Specialist is to optimise the IFS Marketing Technology stack, enable users all over the company to get the best results out of their Digital Marketing efforts and to enable the global execution of digital campaigns.

Operating within many Marketing Technology platforms with a primary focus on Marketing Automation through Marketo Engage, you will play an important part in defining the marketing automation strategy and operations of the Technology stack.

  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Build and execute central marketing programs, including segmentation, testing, deployment and provide continuous evaluation for improvement. Work cross team with our Campaign Team advising on technological best practices for their content, develop recommendations to improve campaigns & produce emails, landing pages & smart campaigns to enable activity. Post campaign you will provide analysis and recommendations for future campaign activity based on analytical assessment.
  • Manage the enablement of our user base, ensuring all processes are adhered to across all centrally owned systems through training calls, onboarding programs and training materials such as user guides and training videos. Providing ongoing support through management of service desk tickets.
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integrations including with our CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into our Marketo Engage instance. 
  • Actively develop Data Management campaigns & adherence to drive data governance, data health and compliance.
  • Assess New Technologies that will bring benefit to IFS, and once purchased advise on implementation & adoption/training for our user base.
  • Undertake technology audits, aiming to find any inadequacies in our instances and rectifying to contribute to system efficiency. This could include frequent cleanses, structure implementations & ongoing monitoring.
  • Maintains work process flows by coordinating information and requirements with related operational departments; participating with and providing resources to business improvement teams.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on Marketing Automation experience with Marketo Engage.
  • Deep interest in the latest developments, industry trends, and best practices for digital marketing, analytics and marketing technology platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge and experience working across a subset of these marketing technology categories: Web, social, marketing automation, email, ABM, webinars, content marketing, analytics, data management platforms.

Desirable:

  • Experience in AB testing.
  • Experience in working in a matrixed environment.
  • Is able to deal with multiple stakeholders and requirements.
