IBM/HCL Notes Client Support Engineer

About the project

Responsible for end-to-end delivery management of one or more client projects. The projects consist of Domino servers administration and deployments. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and work with: Domino, Linux, Docker, automatic deployment tools.

Your team

You will be part of the Financial IT Services Team, composed of 20+ people, with diverse skills in AIX, Solaris and Middleware, Groupware.

Your role

The IBM/HCL Notes Client Support Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Oversight of the application and configuration within the environments 
• Automation of deployments and script maintenance
• Troubleshooting technical or functional issues in a complex environment in order to provide timely resolution, with various applications and platforms

A key part of the role is to analyze, propose and implement improvements and optimizations to the running systems, processes and workflows.

Must have:

• Experience with support, installation, deinstallation, configuration and troubleshooting of Notes client
• Knowledge of scripting in Windows Environments (ex PowerShell, Pearl)
• Experience with virtual applications imagine creation for Citrix
• Basic knowledge of testing (mostly manual)
• Proficient in German, both written and spoken (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Software Engineering and Computer Science principles
• Experience with software packaging/update/fixpack elaborations
• ITIL framework experience
