Job Description

Tasks:

  • Supporting Presales during development of new business and ensuring proposal accuracy.
  • Ability to understand a client's needs with a broad perspective in service solutions. Yet the focus of the role is to channel the requirements and needs in a ways that the standard toolset of the BSO Salesforce offering is brought to its full potential. 
  • Delivering solutions that blends in well with the Bosch Service Solutions system landscape and adds as little overhead as possible to the standardized offering. 
  • Any further customization is well challenged against capabilities of the Salesforce platform and best practice to implement them.

Qualifications

Competencies:

  • Solid work experience in Service Delivery (candidate knows the general requirements in service delivery) AND/OR work experience with an ISV / software vendor (candidate knows how to map requirements and channel customer needs towards a generic product).
  • Can articulate the business objectives and process(es) that the technology is enabling for the clients they have worked with (e.g. service request management, lead processing, pipeline management). 
  • Ability to fully configure the Salesforce platform- creating Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Page Layouts.
  • An understanding among other of Service Cloud, Design Flows, Visualforce and Apex.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • The consultant/architect should have strong communication and moderation skills to guide the scoping process, make a well grounded proposal, identify fits and gaps and present a clear vision of the solution that sets proper expectations with the client.  
  • Candidate should bring the ability: 
    • to ask meaningful questions. 
    • to listen actively and attentively to a client. 
    • to propose and defend an opinion in an inclusive, non-obstrusive and nonaggressive manner.
    • to speak up (and down) to decision makers and a manager level person.
  • to evaluate, consolidate, and reconcile different opinions and promote consensus on goals that can be committed to by a majority of stakeholders. 

Prerequisites: 

 

  • Have previous consulting experience in Salesforce Solution Design. 
  • Proven experience in Service Cloud and other experience with CRM technology.
  • Salesforce.com certifications are highly desirable.
