Job Description

Chit Chats is looking for a  Business Administrator to bring their problem solving, communications and organizational skill set to the Business Team.  Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Administrator is responsible for the establishing of initial documentation of business projects, providing supporting oversight, and the determining communication requirements for a wide range of   business, sales,  finance, logistics and operational initiatives as well as facilitating the progression of projects through their full life-cycle.  

Responsibilities to Team:

  • Identify and communicate business and technical requirements to stakeholders

  • Document requirements and actionable items of business projects

  • Facilitate the smooth completion of projects by engaging key stakeholders

  • Assist in the prioritization of projects

  • Provide analytical support in partnership explorations

  • Analyse and audit data

  • Support in the creation of business cases and studies and ideas

  • Support project managers as needed to ensure successful project completion

• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Must be able to work weekdays within core business hours 

  • One (1) year of business administration, analytics, communications or equivalent experience

  • Competency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets/Excel)

  • Competent in MS Office and Google Suite, databases and software platforms

  • Ability to prepare PPT

  • Highly motivated with demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to multitask and communicate and coordinate with teams

  • Flexibility and willingness to learn is essential given the broad breadth of activities of the business team

  • Great organizational ability and documentation skills

  • Technical writing ability a plus

  • Experience in e-commerce, shipping, and/or logistics a plus

Additional Information

  • This is a remote work opportunity with the requirement to attend meetings and training on-site

  • A working computer with the ability to generate and handle large reports is required for this role.
