Sr. SAP SD/EDI Consultant

Objective:

Implement SAP SD solutions in EDI based on business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps to ensure compliance to business requirements and accuracy of transmissions to customers.
• Analyze EDI implementations and recommend improvements to processes and future expansion of EDI transactions.
• Participate in the creation of business solutions by providing system analysis, design and development support with an emphasis on e-commerce or B2B business solutions.
• Provides technical and functional support in the areas of SAP S/4HANNA systems administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, and training.
• Create effective project documentation as defined within the IT standard operation procedures, guidelines and best practices. Prepare timely and accurate status reports on all ongoing e-commerce projects.
• Backup for the SD functions of SAP as it relates to the Order to Cash process.

Hardskills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a minimum of an Associate’s Degree and equivalent work experience in a computer related field.
• 4 years of SAP SD-EDI experience.
• Domain expertise in Sales and Distribution.
• Experience in data exchange with customers via EDI. Knowledge of SAP modules and processes (SAP OTC, SAP ALE, iDocs) as well as an overview of the underlying business processes of EDI connections (e.g.: purchasing, sales) are essential.
• Troubleshoot EDI document processing errors to resolve in a timely matter.
