Senior Vice President, Engineering

• Manage all global development teams, focused on scaling and driving innovation within our platforms
• Responsible for defining vision and driving team execution as well as overseeing architecture, engineering, and QA processes; this will require strong leadership capabilities, as well as the ability to roll-up-your-sleeves to ensure alignment across technology, product and business stakeholders
• Collaborate with all members of the executive team to translate the business priorities of the company into technical agenda
• Lead multiple teams (local and international) that are focused on creating cutting edge products
• Lead architecture discussions and create clear decision-making products
• Manage teams across multiple areas, including disparate technology and niche solutions
• Establish and maintain a high engineering bar with rigorous, yet agile development

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, graduate degree preferred
• 7-10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience - managing multiple teams and/or locations
• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Solid understanding and experience in the Agile methodology and hands on management of agile, iterative development spanning specification, prototyping, architecture, QA, operations, and support
• Hands on experience with various technologies including Java, C#, React, SQL, Ruby, Unity 3D, .NET, and Enterprise Integrations (Netsuite, SFDC, SAP, etc)
• Advanced understanding of cloud-based development methodologies and state of the art design patterns, understanding and experience of building highly scalable, highly available systems
• Experience in developing and leveraging REST API development and JSON
• Experience in enterprise deployments in high availability, highly scalable industries
• Strong people management skills with proven success in recruiting, creating, and motivating a strong performing engineering team
• Experience working in a PE-backed environment
• Obsession to drive an outstanding and industry-recognized user experience
• Strong and detailed knowledge of modern front-end technology stacks, data management, 2D / 3D visualization, systems integrations, cloud computing, continuous integration and deployment methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to deliver large scale programs
• Excellent leadership, project and talent management, and coaching skills
• Detail-orientated with strong organizational skills in a fast-changing environment
• Thrives in a high-pressure, challenge-driven environment with passion to innovate and with fast-acting, decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all functions at all levels of the organization
