Postal.io is seeking an Employee Onboarding and Training Specialist who will focus on delivering an extraordinary employee experience, building employee relationships and cultivating company culture. This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly scaling startup and make a significant impact. You will be responsible for all new hire onboarding, including new hire documentation, creation and facilitation of orientation and overseeing the completion of compliance training. Using an LMS, you will find creative ways to ensure that the employee onboarding experience is equitable for both in-person and remote new hires.
Responsibilities
Onboard new hires into the HRIS system upon offer letter acceptance
Gather and process digital forms such as background checks and employee documents
Create interactive, user friendly orientation and training materials, updating them as needed
Facilitate new hire orientation and training, both in person and virtually
Work with every department across the organization to gather necessary information and content to ensure the new hire orientation and ongoing employee training is informative and educating
Be the subject matter expert in all employee related systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS)
4 year degree in relevant field
2-4 years of experience preferably in onboarding or employee training
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; especially a demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management
Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
An ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Basic knowledge of HR law and best practices
Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities
A self-starter who takes the initiative to get things done
