Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Developer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Microsoft stack including Azure, PowerApps, and SharePoint.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate client functional and non-functional requirements into Microsoft technical designs.
  • Develop a structured approach to solution development and coordinate development activity across multiple developers.
  • Document technical design as well as other technical documents based on the project’s compliance requirements.
  • Work with the client's IT organisation to ensure compliance with IT guidelines and policies.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers and encourage interactive discussion during technical design and code reviews.
  • Utilise deep understanding of Microsoft platform solutions to make appropriate decisions and solve technical and scaling problems. 
  • Design and develop and unit test technical components using appropriate coding languages.
  • Assist in installation, configuration and tuning of Microsoft environments.
  • Assist support activities such as bug resolution, delivery of defects and application improvements.
  • Maintain and deploy code to Azure cloud environment.
  • Application design, development, and deployment via CI/CD pipeline.
  • Manage and review the code solutions and resolve conflicts.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong development skills in .NET core and .NET framework
  • 5+ years of experience providing advice, support and development with the Microsoft stack including Azure, PowerApps, SharePoint.
  • Experience in Agile development methodology.
  • Experience working with vendor solutions across architecture, configuration, customisation and optimisation.
  • Front-end technology development experience (e.g. PowerApps, mobile technologies).
  • Database development (e.g. SQL, No-SQL).
  • Experience developing in Azure cloud environment (certification preferred).
  • Experience with DevOps practices (e.g. developing CI/CD pipelines, version control management).
  • Experience working with and developing integration components – APIs and eventing frameworks (e.g. REST, XML, JSON).
  • Experience with SharePoint (e.g. content management, knowledge management).
  • Strong technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with peers to design and deliver solutions.
  • Experience working in an environment in which there are multiple simultaneous projects with challenging timelines.
