Job Description

We are looking for a result-driven Media Relations intern to join our Marketing team. Media Relations require great written and verbal communications skills. At VIVANT, you’ll be in charge of creating compelling stories and events to catch the editors’ attention. 

If you believe the world's best brands feel more like a trusted friend than a company, and you understand how to weave that feeling into everything you do, you might be our next VIVANT. 

The right person for this role will pride themselves on creating and curating engaging press pitches and making sure VIVANT is catching the attention of the key media. 

Responsibilities

  • Fully support and execute our VIVANT’s PR strategy, following the marketing objectives and campaigns
  • Schedule and organize media events (virtual and physical press tastings, media interviews, press conferences, press trips)
  • Create and distribute press releases, pitches and make sure our press kit and press page is up to date
  • Assist in managing our press agencies or the main targeted markets to raise Brand Awareness on VIVANT
  • Monitor press coverage and create monthly reports
  • Build and execute our Simone Awards campaign: support in building the Simone 2020 experience, update the website, launch 2022 nominations, build marketing and communications strategy for the 2022 edition, collect nominations

Qualifications

  • English native speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • University degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • At least 6 months experience in media relations and communications in a company or at an agency
  • Great knowledge of the US media landscape 
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Creative and digitally savvy mindset, you love the combination of data and creativity
  • Confident, self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
