The EDI Specialist/Analyst will ensure transactions with SAP business & retail customers meet and/or exceed system expectations through daily EDI monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, resolving & documentation of any data transmission processing anomalies to completion in an efficient & timely manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Develop a thorough understanding of the internal & external customer objectives. 
• Design optimal technical solutions based on internal & external customer needs. 
• Produce EDI coding output to support internal & external customer needs. 
• Produce EDI inbound payloads to support internal testing of process improvements. 
• Document, maintain, and update all solutions, integrations, extensions or enhancements of the SAP platform via technical specifications & diagrams to serve as Company knowledge database and reference material.
• Transform internal & external customer requirements into use cases and tasks with technical specifications. 
• Review, document, and maintain requirements matrix for specifications, development, and testing. 
• Support global business brands, by working side-by-side with in-house teams, outsourced resources, and retail customers to ensure that SOPs are adhered to & solutions are delivered with high-quality standards. 
• Act as the primary in-house liaison for all SAP-related coding issues across multiple consumer brands. 
• Promote process improvements across EDI VAN document flows. 

Successful EDI Specialist/Analyst applicants will have 3-5 years experience in B2C/B2B e-commerce environments & daily experience with SAP ECC.

Additional Qualifications:

• Expertise in SAP ECC (SD/FICO/WM), Netweaver.
• Familiarity with SAP ECC (MM/BASIS), Microsoft Office, Github.
• Expert-level knowledge of EDI/IDOC. 
• Experience writing User Stories & Use Cases to document requirements. 
• Familiarity with Project Management Software; Wrike preferred. 
• Ability to convert business requirements into detailed system design & technical specifications. 
• Excellent & consistent customer service skills. 
• Exceptional listening & communication skills; adept at communicating technical concepts & information both verbal & written, to a non-technical audience. 
• Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous e-commerce/coding-related activities & resources simultaneously, while ensuring deadlines are met. 
• Demonstrated ability to identify, mitigate, resolve and escalate risks.
• Tech-related Bachelor’s Degree.
