Job Description

As Client Partner (CP), you are the external lead for your assigned initiative(s). In partnership with the Client Operations Lead (COL), you are uniquely responsible for driving projects forward, which will include a lot of dot connecting, rallying resources, managing client expectations, “laying track” for various agency points of view, representing client perspectives to internal stakeholders, ensuring absorption of business context and managing successful outcomes.

The Client Partner is a daily source of direct client connection, context, and expectation setting. You will contrast the role of the Client Operations Lead, which is more acutely focused on moving the project to and through completion internally. While both positions face clients and internally, the Client Partner and Client Operations Lead own non-competing, complementary functions over the life and success of an initiative. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Co-manage projects or campaigns from brief through delivery with Client Operations Lead.  Drives team decision-making and acts as hub of client insight and information for creative, Client Operations Lead, media, strategy, and production teams. 
  • Demonstrate the ability to be an “effective dot connector” by seeing challenges and opportunities in advance and connecting them to projects in a way that ensures the project’s success. 
  • Clear the path for great ideas to flourish by seeking data-informed insights, organizing and articulating business and creative context, organizing effective agency resource planning, and moving information up, down and across the organization.
  • Support the management of the annual scope of work for your assigned initiatives such that team resourcing, agency fee and commensurate work output are all aligned against agency leadership and client expectations.
  • Provide daily oversight for a series of teams at varying levels attached to the initiatives to which you are assigned. All mid- and junior-level team members will rely on their Senior Client Partner, and project-based Client Partner(s) and Client Operations Lead(s) to provide a combination of long-term career and cultural guidance as well as daily leadership for client management and successfully moving a project from start to finish. 

We are looking for candidates with the following background and capabilities:

  • 8-10 years agency, or related, experience required to drive multiple streams of work concurrently while meeting deadlines and maintaining proper documentation.
  • Amass a comprehensive understanding of Client’s business so as to foster strong relationships and build trust, drive decisions, and foster strategic integrity of work with multiple stakeholders
  • Clearly articulate desired outcomes, ensure project objectives are met and merchandise past successes. Translate data-informed insights in order to activate and connect analytics, strategy, creative and media toward actionable and positive outcomes. Develop focused, insightful strategies and effectively/efficiently execute tactical plans
