Job Description

This role is open to candidates living in Canada or the USA.

As Revenue Operations Manager supporting global agency partnerships at Shopify, you will help enable Shopify's agency partner program, and support the vision and strategic direction of the agency partner business.  

On Shopify's global agency partner team, we work to keep thousands of agency partners focused and moving as fast as possible, so that Shopify can combine the impact of giants with the speed of a startup. Global revenue operations is all about unifying our internal teams, and as a result, breaking down silos that lead to missed revenue opportunities. You’ll work closely with leaders at a global and regional level in data science, finance, marketing, technology, and operations with a unified goal of enabling our agency partners and growing revenue.

Responsibilities 

  • Foster of culture of constant learning and collaboration between global and regional revenue and business operations teams by creating a feedback loop, informing communication strategies, and facilitating the sharing of best practices

  • Create best in class management reporting in partnership with finance, data science and other functional stakeholders 

  • Define global strategic priorities to power Shopify’s agency partners with clear articulation of KPIs and targets

  • Monitor and manage progress against key metrics and understand drivers that inform and enable Partner teams to take action and make decisions

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business planning reviews and forecasts ensuring strategic alignment across global and regional teams 

  • Relentlessly analyze the business and proactively offer insights and recommendations by using data to model and make suggestions on areas of growth and efficiency

  • Assist with ad hoc high priority special projects as needed. Examples include business case modeling, market sizing, etc. 

  • Provide thought leadership and relevant subject matter expertise to inform strategy and execution path for Shopify's agency partner program

Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of driving recommendations and decisions rooted in qualitative and quantitative data

  • Highly proficient and comfortable working with spreadsheets, models, and large data sets (SQL, Tableau, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and acute attention to detail, allowing you to think big, adapt quickly, and influence peers and stakeholders effectively 

  • Able to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution

  • You generate and implement big ideas to drive improvements, innovation, and scale 

  • Experience creating management reporting and leading business review processes

  • Experience working across geographically dispersed teams to drive alignment and standardization
