AWS Data Engineer

Job Description:

• 8 to 12 years of IT experience Hands on experience developing enterprise solutions on public cloud AWS, and using native and 3rd party ETL tool like Glue.
• Other tools requirements AWS Redshift, Python, Lambda, ETC, Autosys
• Experience with building code to move the data from data lake to AWS Redshift & S3
• End to end implementation experience in data engineering solutions (data ingestion, processing, and provisioning) for largescale and complex environments in atleast 2 or more projects
• Work closely with customers in bringing multiple data sources on financial domain ACH, Wire, transaction data and merging with 3rd party data like D&B
• Understanding of financial terminology esp with retail & commercial banking will be added advantage
• Introductory exposure to visualization tools, supporting BI and data science consumers will be handy
• Demonstrated experience in building data pipelines in data analytics implementations such as Data Lake and Data Warehouse
• Proficiency in data modelling, for both structured and unstructured data, for various layers of storage
• Ability to collaborate closely with business analysts, architects and client stake holders to create technical specifications
• Ability to profile data, assess data quality in the context of business rules, and incorporate validation and certification mechanism to ensure data quality
• Ability to review technical deliverables, mentor and drive technical teams to deliver quality technical deliverables.
