Job Description

Role Purpose

The Corporate Account Manager is responsible for representing our market leading brands, within corporate accounts, predominantly driving and maintaining subscription sales of pharmaceutical related database to corporate clients. We are ideally seeking a confident sales professional with prior experience in selling directly to senior level management, as well as a proven track record of successful B2B sales.

Your clients are Japanese Small and Medium-sized Enterprise firm including the subsidiary.  They include Pharma companies, device companies, academia, and government in Japan. The firm provides clients with database, consulting services, API, insight and news, and SaaS. it means that we understand their internal and external situation and do active listening with our client to suggest their needs as professional firm and information vendor.

This person should have an in-depth knowledge of and experience working in a results-orientated environment, building, and maintaining customer relationships and helping grow their businesses. Informa Pharma intelligence is the trusted partner of all the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies and the top 10 contract research organizations providing timely intelligence, analytics, software and insight to help them make better decisions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Developing your understanding of Informa Pharma Intelligence offerings, our competitors and clients to enable maximized sales and revenue generation.
  • Managing and developing your client base through both established business and new business opportunities
  • Establishing sales opportunities within the Pharma Intelligence brand by networking, building relationships, establishing needs, conducting online demonstrations and closing deals.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline and prepare accurate sales forecasts, new growth ideas and contingency plans
  • Planning and implement training programs working with client service
  • Working with marketing manager to plan and execute the relevant marketing actions with the right timing and frequency

Role Requirements

Essential:

  • Entrepreneurship mind with accountability and Ownership
  • Highly competitive and results-driven
  • Understanding customer needs deeply with communicate well what the client wants to do
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • At least 5 years of selling experience
  • Proven & demonstrable new business selling skills
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions in a simple and coherent manner
  • Self-critical and receptive to advice and constructive criticism
  • Excellent PC skills: highly advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Desirable:

  • Extensive knowledge of both global and local pharmaceutical and healthcare industry
  • Experience selling market intelligence, consulting, custom analytics, or other SaaS solutions
  • Previous experience in B2B sales
  • Subscription and SaaS sales experience would be an advantage
  • The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
  • Experience working in a global organization
  • Bilingual Listening and Speaking skill (English and Japanese)
