Casebook PBC is hiring a Director of Marketing, a new role at the company. This experienced marketer and manager will take on the direction of the marketing department and an experienced and energetic marketing “team of one” who is currently managing all marketing under the direction of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Moving forward, all marketing responsibilities at Casebook PBC will be under the direction of the Director of Marketing, including but not limited to those listed below.
Key Job Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy
You’re ready to break out the spreadsheets and calendar to plan and execute a consistent plan around brand awareness and demand generation, supporting client acquisition and growth of Casebook PBC. This includes identifying and adopting new channels of communication and lead generation opportunities on an ongoing basis and making personnel and budget recommendations that will support Casebook’s go to market strategy.
Measure and Improve
You’ll define the metrics for success in concert with the CRO and then build dashboards that help leadership and your team understand what’s working and what opportunities exist to improve marketing performance.
Trade Show and Event Management
You’ll collaborate with the Director of Sales to identify and coordinate in-person and virtual conferences and events as well as secure speaking opportunities and sponsorship opportunities. You’ll have overall responsibility for logistics and travel related to marketing events.
Sales Support
You’ll work with your peers in the Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management teams to develop sales assets, advertising assets, landing pages, and other materials required to add new customers and expand the offerings of existing customers.
Marketing Automation
You’re an expert in creating and maintaining outbound marketing campaigns and lead nurturing and you know your way around workflows, list segmentation, and lead scoring. You hardly ever send out.
Departmental Budgeting
Manage and maintain a sustainable marketing budget that supports the overall revenue goals of the organization.
Search and Social
Plan and manage a digital program that uses a combination of SEO/SCO, social media, and paid search to support brand awareness and demand/lead generation. This includes oversight and management of the casebook.net website.
Other Responsibilities of Note
This role will manage a team (currently one other employee), with the expectation of additional hire(s) once you’re settled in
Creatives/Graphics (typically outsourced or done in-house with guidance from the Casebook Design Team)
Business Card and Printed Sales Collateral Production
Branded collateral, including giveaways and customer gifts
Sharing updates and team progress with the company
You will work closely with other departmental managers as part of the second tier of leadership at Casebook PBC and will advise the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) during monthly and quarterly meetings.
At least five (5) years experience in SaaS Software and/or Nonprofit marketing and two (2) years managing direct reports
Comprehensive experience with Google Ads, Facebook Business/Ad Manager, Linkedin
Hubspot expert (include your certifications in your resume or cover letter, please)
Expert-level experience with SEO (creating, implementing campaigns)
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, APIs as they relate to digital marketing
Willingness to wear many hats while the team grows
Experience working with nonprofits and government is a plus
Experience in human services/social services domain is a plus
Experience with Zapier is a plus
Legally eligible to work in the United States.
The budgeted compensation for this position is $125,000 per year with a full benefits package including employer funded health insurance for you and a spouse, 401k, and three weeks vacation time. The Director of Marketing will report to the CRO.
