Experian is looking for a talented digital program manager to join its global digital marketing operations team. The digital program manager will play a key team leadership role by managing ongoing digital marketing operational requests, as well as a variety of larger initiatives.

Job Description

The global digital marketing operations team is responsible for day-to-day operation and support of Experian’s global web properties. This includes:

  • Work closely with website content owners, our key stakeholders, to provide them guidance and expertise on variety of digital marketing topics, such as UX, content strategy, SEO, and conversion optimization.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues and support tickets on a variety of website related issues (e.g. content management system, blogs, web analytics).
  • Daily triaging and prioritization of bug, enhancement, and other miscellaneous requests.
  • Partnering with our Engineering (web development) team to resolve issues or complete website enhancement projects.
  • Serving as a “product owner” and primary point of contact with stakeholders who have submitted requests.
  • Developing and expanding a digital marketing training program that helps content owners learn how to use the different tools that make up our marketing technology stack.
  • Working with the leadership team to properly prioritize operational requests along with larger initiatives that make up our digital roadmap.
  • Perform project and resource planning to ensure strategic goals are being met.          
  • Work seamlessly within our Agile development environment, with a strong understanding of Scrum/Agile methodology. Must demonstrate a passion and commitment to evolving our team’s Agile ways of working.
  • Relentlessly drive the team’s projects forward, while maintaining engagement and cooperation from project team members and stakeholders.
  • Structure and manage a communication plan that ensures effective communication both within our internal teams, as well as with stakeholders.
  • Help develop a global digital governance model.
  • Help establish KPIs and reporting to fairly and accurately assess project/program success.
  • Synthesize and present relevant information on key milestones to project stakeholders.
  • Escalate critical issues appropriately.
  • Send out communications regularly and promptly on website issues impacting availability of any of the systems/services our team supports. (This requires occasional weekend/evening work.)
  • Motivate and manage a team (both direct reports and peers)
  • Perform website content updates as needed for web pages managed by our team.
  • Assist with testing of enhancements and new website features.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing as needed.
  • Manage the requirements gathering process and related documentation for the team’s projects.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years digital project management experience (preferably on large-scale digital projects)
  • 5+ years of experience managing content heavy websites or eCommerce
  • 3+ years of experience working on Agile/Scrum development team
  • Strong understanding of Scrum Agile principles
  • Expertise in JIRA and Confluence
  • Broad digital marketing subject matter expertise
  • Experience with business and technical requirements analysis and business process modeling
  • Experience managing all PM activities, including preparing project status reports, taking meeting minutes, tracking approvals, change management, stakeholder management, communications, planning, benefits tracking
  • Experience with an enterprise content management system (experience with AEM a plus)
  • Experience managing a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Current Scrum Product Owner certification from a recognized certification provider
