IT Support Analyst - 18-24 month contract

The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation is a world leader in the design, manufacture and sale of power tools, rotary and oscillating tools, accessories, laser and optical leveling and range finding tools. This role is for an approximate 18-24 month contract term.

Location: The incumbent of the role will be based in Welland, ON.

-The incumbent supports and maintains user-side computers and peripherals which includes installing, diagnosing, maintaining, upgrading/replacing hardware for optimal performance
-Troubleshoot IT problems timely and accurately, provide customer enabling for IT products
-Manage and respond to incident/requests, change and asset management
-Provide training, support and interface with internal customers on computer operation
-Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of PC problems for a variety of customers, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed
-Receive and respond to calls and e-mails regarding computer related problems

-Must be a recent grad within the last 6 months from a university or college degree or diploma program in Information Systems or another related field

-Well developed oral and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation
-Able to analyze complex situations and provide sound solutions in a timely manner and able to present ideas in a user-friendly language
-Good knowledge of Microsoft products (operating system, productivity applications, etc.)
-Knowledge of IT infrastructure would be considered an asset

-Knowledge of ITIL methodology and ITIL Foundation preferred
-Time management skills; capable to deliver results on time for all tasks assigned
-Capable to develop a good understanding of local business requirements and the ability to translate them into IT solutions for the business
