Together with the Program Team responsible for the global deployment and rollout of an ITSM Tool the Deployment and Release Manager will work on the rollout of the tool in to the company and its different departments ensuring close collaboration with the operations, infrastructure, project and IT teams provided by internal customers. In the role, you will understand and lead strategic IT rollout  projects, have extensive exposure to business leadership, require senior strong stakeholder management and interface with multiple internal and external parties. As well as proactively identify project delivery risks and issues and establish delivery monitoring controls and governance mechanisms.

You will manage, monitor and deliver multiple interrelated IT Rollouts as part of the overall Program of the Deployment of a new IT Service management tool. These projects will be aimed to perform implementations and  configurations of an enterprise-level IT Service Management Tool and its components You will lead, guide, inspire, motivate and direct multiple cross organizational teams and suppliers to deliver the rollouts ensuring a return on investment driven by the requirements and needs of our internal customers as well as top level management strategies.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

• Manage, monitor and coordinate the deployment of the IT Service Management Platform in a focus of delivering global IT standard and group solution
• Own schedule and deliver projects as per the scope, on time and to the budget in a highly interdependent ecosystem with multiple stakeholder;
• Define, introduce and execute project management frameworks and KPIs to deliver quality projects across the Group;
• Provide deployment management expertise and oversight of rollout projects, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery without compromising high quality deliverables;
• Finding and introducing potential fields of improvement through optimization of existing organizational structures and processes, as well as the introduction of new standards in the area of the rollout and enhancement of the IT Service Management Platform
• Proactively identify project delivery risks and issues. Establish mitigation mechanisms and effectively communicate and escalate to ensure progress;
• Provide periodic reporting and presentation of decision-making material for senior executives and major stakeholders;
• Support senior management in planning and prioritization of key initiatives;
• Ensure high level of cooperation internally, and with other IT Infrastructure, IT Solutions Architecture, Security teams and the key business stakeholders;
• Deliver quality documentation allowing for a smooth rollout of all internal departments;
• Act as business partner to the other department and customers ensuring a smooth cooperation and reliability from Program side
• Work with the IT Service Management Architecture Teams to initiate priority Projects according to roadmaps;
• Support and execute strategic and transformational initiatives, including segregation execution program;

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-10 years of experience in coordinating IT projects, rollouts  and deployment initiatives.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills with track record of working directly with senior leadership levels;
• Proven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills;
• Strong customer focused, team oriented communication skills with emphasis on building lasting, trusted partnerships through written and verbal communications with clients of IT in the business;
• Ability to have fun while working hard in a demanding fluid environment;
• Personally you convince through analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a goal-oriented and pragmatic approach.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or other project management and MS Office tools

PERSONAL SKILLS:

• Master’s degree in Management, Computer Science or in a similar field;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager of complex IT projects in a large, preferably international organization;
• ITIL certification and at least deeper knowledge of a project management method;
• Excellent written and verbal skills in English. Additional language skills in German or French are a plus, but not a must;
• Excellent communication with technical leaders;
• Team player;
• Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking);
• Able to work under minimal supervision;
• Detail oriented;
• Willingness to travel.
