Proposal Manager

LiveStories is a venture-backed company on a mission to build technology solutions allowing Governments to provide assistance to their communities at scale. FORWARD, the technology platform, connects businesses and people to national, state, and local resources in one place.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of proposal submissions:

• Help identify relevant RFXs (RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.) 

• Read and assess RFX, attend pre-bid meetings, and participate in the bid/no-bid decision process

• Research information about requestors 

• Help identify potential proposal partners 

• Help determine proposal concept 

• Write compliant and responsive proposal draft

• Manage feedback, editing, and approval process

• Prepare submission checklist, bids, and documents

• Proofread and ensure compliance with formatting 

• Submit final approved proposals 

• Support follow up interviews

• Debrief after submission/bid award

• Highly solution-oriented

• Creative problem solving 

• Exceptional writer and storyteller

• Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team

• Experience writing and developing proposals for the public sector 

• Detail-oriented and organized

• Excellent editing, formatting, and communication skills

• Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize workload
