Senior Product Manager - SW / HW Smart Home Connected Products

Are you an experienced Product Manager who always thinks about the customer’s experience first rather than the product first?

Are you able to talk to consumers, draw out their needs and wants and then ideate solutions that solve their needs and wants?

Do you have the ability to analyze consumer research and boil it down to what matters?

Are you a dreamer, but have the ability to convert dreams into realized solutions for consumers?

What you will do:

• Talk with consumers, conduct research, evaluate consumer research and consolidate what you find into digestible information that will help formulate forecasted consumer needs.
• Think big.  What are the smart home experiences that are going to solve consumer issues, drive need for those experiences and improve consumer’s lives?
• Big Picture View.  Bring together cohesive thought around products and software to deliver an experience.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Development Teams to deliver consumer experiences.

• 7+ years of Product Management experience successfully managing hardware or software products, prefer both.
• 5 + years Smart Home or Connected Products in the CPG or C&I space.
• Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze data and develop a thesis based on that data.
• Creativity: Demonstrated capability in finding creative solutions for consumer problems.
• Dreaming: We mentioned this before, but you must be able to give examples for how you have been able to turn big ideas into real solutions.
