Program Director

Experian’s Consumer Information Services (CIS) Innovation and Solutions Group is looking for highly motivated Program Director that can lead a multi-year large scale global expansion program in fast paced Agile environment.

Responsibilities

As the Program Director, you will play a critical role in executing a various strategic cross-bu and global initiatives driving the planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day activities with cross-functional and regional stakeholders across the organization. Additional responsibilities will include:

·       Responsible for leading all aspects of diverse, very complex programs, working with business leaders to align strategies.

·       Leading the execution of change and scale through strong collaboration with product and engineering leaders.

·       Working closely with regional products and technology teams, stakeholders, and regional heads to enable scale and acceleration of Ascend products and solutions globally.

·       Building a culture of data-driven decision-making by helping define OKRs and key metrics and evaluating their progress.

·       Driving and managing forums for check-ins with product teams, stakeholders, executive leadership, and strategic partners.

·       Scaling the organization to ensure measurability, ongoing sustainability, and rapid growth.

·       Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Sales and Finance teams to create a symbiotic relationship based on trust and transparency.

·       Creating a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning, promoting continuous improvement and driving the transition to making their product organization highly effective and outcome driven.

·       Anticipating and aggressively removing obstacles that slow down or prevent programs from delivering on their objectives.

·       Driving for clarity to keep teams moving forward.

·       Manage the program-level execution of work across multiple delivery teams working across organizational boundaries to define roadmaps and program interdependencies using agile and traditional project management framework and methodologies

·       Lead Jr Project and Program Managers to drive program deadlines and deliver products to market

Role Requirements

Education/Certifications

·       BA or BS is required; MS or MBA is a plus

·       PMP, PgMP, PfMP or Agile/ Scrum (CSM, PMI-ACP) Certification preferred.

Technical Acumen

•  
• 10+ years of strong program management experience preferred
• Experience as a Product Manager and/or roles in engineering is preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of hands-on, detail-oriented work
• Ability to translate complex technical matters into terms understood by business professionals
• High competency with various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheet and Lucid Chart

• Outstanding organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional, cross-regional/cultural, matrixed management environment
• Balances technical and commercial acumen; able to communicate “what is possible” and what will have the biggest impact on the business
• Able to articulate and build operating model for new functions and or teams
• Able to articulate and manage to key KPIs and use metrics to drive performance and provide data in support of key decisions

• Prepares realistic estimates of resource requirements (e.g., budget, headcount) needed to accomplish team objectives
• Balances urgent and effective action, commitment to excellence, and taking initiative to resolve problems; holds internal stakeholders accountable where appropriate
• Capable of executing short-term (tactical) and long term (strategic) plans
• Experience framing, establishing, and implementing product and solution scaling initiatives

• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
