"Located 70 km from Mexico City, Bosch Plant in Toluca (TlP) has manufactured since 1966 a wide range of products for the Automotive Business for Electrical Drives (ED) and Powertrain Solutions (PS) Divisions.

"The design engineer works within the PS engineering group, developing pressure sensors in accordance with Bosch manufacturing, safety and quality standards and customer requirements. The successful candidate:

• Prepares and publishes 3D models, 2D prints, bills of material, product specifications, list of special features, among other documents
• Represents the technical interface with suppliers during component release. Supports engineering changes and cost reduction projects.

In specific, the following tasks are part of the job

• Plastics design and product development
• Design for manufacturing and design for assembly knowledge
• Lead ECRs
• GD&T, 2D and 3D tolerance Stack-up, Tolerances analysis
• SAP skills
• Analytic problem solving skills, including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, DOE or similar disciplines
• Fundamental knowledge in plastic components tooling design
• DRBFM lead and DFMEA participation
• Collaborate closely with project management, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, suppliers and mechanical core team to transform customer requirements into product realization."

Education:
Mechanical Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronics Engineer or similar

Experience:
Product or machine design
