Electrical Engineer

Spectrum Software Technology (SST) is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer for its civil aviation programs. The position requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fields and 2-6 years of relevant experience. Previous FAA experience helpful but not required. This position is located at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)’s William J. Hughes Technical Center adjacent to the Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey. (Temporarily Remote)

The Electrical Engineer will be providing support for our Surface and Surveillance areas. Some knowledge of Radio Frequency, Microwave or Satellite communications is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Requires minimum 2+ years relevant experience (will substitute Master's Degree for work experience)
• knowledge of RF, Microwave or Satellite communcations
• experience working on Communications, Navigation, or Surveillance equipment helpful

• Labview and/or MATLAB desired
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• previous FAA experience a plus but not required
• Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder
