Job Description
Etsy is seeking an IT Vendor & Procurement Manager to join our team and help manage administrative responsibilities that directly impact the productivity of our IT team leading to a positive impact on the enterprise organization.
Your primary responsibility is helping deliver value in the area of IT Procurement. The tools the IT team are responsible for are used every day by Etsy employees. This is a full-time role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering with the possibility to work remotely in the US.
About the Role
- You will assist the IT leadership team’s ability to deliver, make a positive impact on the business, and solve business problems.
- You will be responsible for vendor management, working with IT leadership on items including tracking issue logs, maintaining scorecards, identifying benchmarks, regular reviews to ensure we have the right partnerships and vendors in place, and driving QBRs.
- You will be responsible for tracking all IT vendor contract lifecycles, working with IT leadership on items from NDA, RFP, vendor onboarding, SOW, POs, returns and credits, AOP/budgeting management, setting vendor expectations, ensuring processes are efficient, and vendor offboarding.
- You will order, receive, and track the procurement of new IT equipment and services, managing the administrative tasks in Conga, Workday, etc, and assist the teams in IT with organizing inventory and managing the disposal of EOL IT equipment.
- You will track IT software licenses and manage usage through the process of audits and license topoffs or reductions.
- You will document procedures, policies, technical instructions and other processes, especially as related to licensing and procurement.
- You will manage projects, both large and small, related to procurement (examples: implement a punch out system, move from lease to buy model, etc).
- You may do all or some of these tasks more broadly for the Infra Eng organization.
Qualifications

- You have experience with contracts, purchase orders, vendor management, and basic accounting.
- You’re creative, curious, and eager to learn.
- You have experience with managing projects.
- You enjoy diving into new technologies and tools.
- You are a team player with a customer service mentality and actively collaborate with people around you to find solutions to problems.
- You use direct, empathetic, and clear communication.
- You believe in documentation and knowledge-sharing with others.
- You value improving workflow efficiency and believe in continuous improvement.
- You are familiar with a variety of SaaS tooling (productivity applications, Google Apps, OS navigation and installation, Chrome, Slack).
