As a Backend Developer you’ll be powering Payment services and will join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues.  

Your key tasks and responsibilities are: 

• As a backend .Net developer, you will work within the green field, Azure based, next generation payment processing system at Nets a specific problem space critical to Net’s current needs where you will design, develop and deploy backend services with a focus on scalability, high availability and low latency 

• Collaborate and grow in a dynamic and autonomous environment while working in small, agile and cross functional teams 

• Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers at a massive scale 

• Be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own, and potentially take part in an on-call rotation 

• Share your knowledge and build creative solutions while helping the team evolve best practices 

Some of the tech and patterns you will use 

• .Net (latest versions) 

• Docker and Kubernetes 

• Microservices architecture on Azure 

• Cqrs and event sourcing  

• MongoDB and Cosmos  

• Dapr framework 

• Experience with RESTful APIs and commercial product development 

• Experience for writing clean and testable code 

• Experience with Agile/XP practices (Pairing, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery).

This job will be in the Payment Services team, a newly formed group at Nets, who will create a next generation distributed payments processing system for Nets eCommerce and Point of Sale. The team consists mainly of payment developers from a variety of backgrounds who are primarily “hands on keyboard” working on Azure cloud and whose primary product is a set of robust RESTful APIs. The team has a digital first approach (even post pandemic), a modern, green field tech stack built on Azure. The goal of the team is to be the central payment processing connector for the entirety of Nets and third party PSPs.

Your qualifications include: 

• Extensive software development experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to .Net  

• Great problem solving abilities 

• Working proficiency in English
