Principal Software Engineer

As a Principal Software Engineer, you are responsible for being a key component in the maintenance and resolution of issues that may arise with ATPCO’s Architect Product. This tool is a Pricing Management Solution that provides the best-in-class pricing data, monitoring, analysis, and competitive reaction capabilities with an integrated end-to-end workflow. Architect gives the pricing analyst and organization control over determining recommended fares, providing auto-recommendations, and allowing analysts to calculate proposed fares.

You will:

• Be a technical product lead within an agile scrum team
• Interact with external stakeholders to understand the necessary components for the product and implement those designs and needs
• Work with a product lead and product designers
• Participate in hands-on coding and development
• Derive and design technical product solutions
• Understand the customer journey and customer interface

The Ideal Candidate:

• Expertise in Java development
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience using GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, Nexus, Splunk, and JProfiler
• Familiarity with Openshift, JMeter, Mongo, DB2, and AWS is desirable, but not required
