What’s the challenge?

Moneybarn is going through a continued period of growth, therefore we are looking for a Information Security Manager to manage the Information Security and Business Continuity team.

As the Information Security Manager, you will be working closely with other areas of the Technology and Change function, Risk and Compliance and our Operations teams to establish, maintain, and manage the confidentiality, integrity of all our physical and electronic assets. As the SME of Information Security, we are looking for someone who has the experience necessary to develop the Information Security Frameworks, establish our Business Continuity plans and ensure that Information Security and Business Continuity Operations are maintained.  

The Information Security Manager will report directly into our Technology and Change Director, collaborate with our Senior Management Team and work closely with our Provident Financial Group colleagues.  

What will the Information Security Manager do?

  • Maintain a holistic view of Information Security threats across our business and develop effective risk strategies
  • Primary contact for Moneybarn Information Security Office and be accountable for leading this office. This includes but not limited to: implementing the information security strategy, setting security standards and risks, risk assessing technology investments oversee internal, third parties and IT teams running Information and Technology Security
  • Develop, contribute, and communicate Moneybarn’s:
    • Corporate Information Security policy, standards and guidelines
    • Information Assurance policy, standard and guidelines
    • Business Continuity Management process and procedures including assessment and management of the Impact of Business Continuity events
    • Policies, standards, processes, guidelines for ensuring the physical and electronic security of automated system
  • Takes a comprehensive approach to penetration testing, seeking vulnerabilities across the full spectrum of organisation policies, processes and defences in order to improve Moneybarn’s readiness
  • Manage provision of consultancy services and/or management of a team of consultants   
  • Adhere to FCA conduct rules
  • Adhere to FCA Senior Management Conduct rules

Qualifications

What will it take to be a successful?

  • Demonstrate experience in an Information Security Role, preferably in a Financial services organisation
  • Demonstrate Experience of managing an Information Security/Cyber Security Team. 
  • Exceptional customer and stakeholder management experience used to working with senior executives to communicate effectively and gain support through reasoned argument and effective decision making.
  • Confident and resilient with the ability to handle conflict and different opinions professionally.
  • CISSP, ISO27001, PCI-DSS
