Manager, Media Partnerships

The Team:

Amplifi is the media investment arm of dentsu International. Consisting of three divisions: Investment, Global Media Partnerships, dentsu Programmatic and Social.

The team is tasked with providing thought leadership, best practice, accountability and growth across TV, Digital Direct, Programmatic, Social, Commerce, Outdoor, Print and Radio. The Amplifi goal is simple, to harness technology, insight and creative thinking to help all members of the dentsu operating model identify and deliver business outcomes for our clients and partners. We will do this by re-inventing our relationship with the supply side.

Our Global Partnership proposition is at the heart of some of the biggest challenges and opportunities dentsu are experiencing as a media business. We build relationships with partners that are open to innovation with an appetite to move the focus away from trading to transformation.

The Manager, Global Media Partnerships role is a unique US position based in New York. The scope entails working as a part of the global team to develop and drive key GMP areas of innovation, but then the task of bringing them to life on the ground in the US. This requires being an enthusiastic team player and problem solver.

In addition, this role is responsible for engaging with US client team and media partner leads to source opportunities and new thinking to create transformational media opportunities. A perfect GMP scenario would be to determine a business challenge, develop a partnership that helps to overcome said challenge and to ultimately formalize this within a GMP deal.

Beyond ideation and exploration, the Manager, Global Media Partnerships will be tasked with supporting the building, deployment and management of the Partnerships on behalf of dentsu International and its clients. It is an internal and external facing role, one that requires effective communication with key stakeholders in the organization and with our partners.

Further responsibilities include: acting as a resource for internal teams when they’re developing programs with dentsu global partners; meeting with senior media owners to explore opportunities and managing bringing new opportunities to market.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

· A planner / strategist with 3-5 years agency experience.

· A strong understanding of digital media and the role it can play within integrated media or

· communications plans.

· An open-minded team player, willing to learn and also share their ideas

· Project management, or someone process driven is a plus

· Confidence in engaging with senior members of the Amplifi and key vendor partners

· A driven team player that is deadline conscious and able to work on complex projects at pace.

· Ability to adapt and multitask to quickly moving projects, timelines and deliverables.

· Can influence effectively internally and externally.

· Articulate, confident and organized.
