Your Career

The public cloud market has been growing at a rapid rate for the last few years and as more enterprises use public cloud, there is a critical need for creative engineers to help develop software to prevent cyberthreats within the cloud environment. In this role, you will develop security disciplines to solve real-world problems and critical cybersecurity challenges.

You love to code and build exceptional products, and you bring new ideas in all facets of software development. You are someone who is highly technical, understands cloud technologies, and understands the complex world of cloud eco-systems and integrations. You love solving challenges for our customers in complex environments, and you aren’t deterred by the fact that much of this technology just has not been done before. In fact, you like the prospect of the challenge.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for software development including, debugging, development, deployment, and support of Palo Alto Prisma cloud services

  • Work consists of troubleshooting and debugging with Linux containers and Serverless workloads

  • Proactive in debugging, troubleshooting issues and driving issue resolution

  • Cover broad span of ownership from web application development to kernel module hacking 

  • Proactive to engage with the Cross Scrum teams, Support teams and other stakeholders 

  • Working on cutting-edge technologies, potential candidates should be quick learner, must have the skills to master any new technology and become productive in a short time frame

  • Develop a strong understanding and be able to articulate complex issues clearly and decompose them into achievable solutions

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Hands on experience with runtime file protections utilizing low level Linux kernel APIs

  • Hands on experience with Golang, Linux, Java, Python

  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, AWS, etc.)

  • Experience in building web applications, REST API and microservices

  • Experience with implementing application level monitoring on full stack

  • Experience with large scale application troubleshooting and performance tuning

  • Knowledge and experience with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and test driven development

  • Verbal and written communication skills to work with multi-functional groups
