Your Career
As a critical member of the Digital & Demand Team, the Global Email Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy, campaign & program architecture, and success of the overarching ClaiSec global email program. You will partner with the ClaiSec Global Campaign, Regional Field, and Integrated Demand team members to ensure a best-in-class email program, as well as support omni-channel campaigns that engage and nurture leads, and contribute significantly to pipeline.
We’re looking for a leader and strong cross-functional collaborator with a data-driven approach. You should always prioritize the customer experience, champion the Palo Alto Networks brand, and help to tell the ClaiSec story.
You will manage a small team of email producers. While mostly strategic, you can be hands on when needed.
Prefer someone that can commute to HQ in Santa Clara, CA, but remote is an option for the right candidate. Light travel required.
Your Impact
Tell the ClaiSec story to our prospects and customers and deliver the best user journey experience
Manage team of email producers, and ensuring flawless execution
Collaborate with primary stakeholders - ClaiSec Global Campaign, Regional Field, and Integrated Demand teams, ensuring alignment of campaigns and event promotions
Provide consultancy of email promotion strategy, lead journey, database segmentation strategy, lead flow and integration across systems
Consult on the lead journey, persona targeting, behavioral marketing
Own the promotional calendar for the ClaiSec database, and facilitate conflict resolution between campaigns
Own the ClaiSec personas including audience segmentation, funnel stage, and governance
Own the ClaiSec email nurture journeys end-to-end, from the emails through to the content engagement
Being hands-on with setting up Marketo Programs, Pathfactory journey creation and building the email nurtures
Govern and support the creation of digital engagement journeys in Pathfactory
Drive optimization of email programs and database through data insights and A/B testing
Regularly communicate and report out (email program, database and nurtures) to stakeholders
Be an operational subject matter expert of our Email Sending Platform; train internal users on email concepts, metrics, and best practices.
Own and maintain the ClaiSec Email Marketing project roadmap
Your Experience
A university degree and 4+ years of experience in email marketing
Extensive experience in automation and working with Marketo; Marketo Certified Expert preferred
Experience leading or managing a team
A strong quantitative focus and data-driven approach - excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills.
Expert level understanding of the email performance and lead qualification funnel metrics
Plenty of practical experience with A/B/multivariate testing
Experience building automated and intelligent multi-stage nurtures
Experience working on landing pages and web journeys in Pathfactory a plus
Must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with many cross-functional teams. You can translate complex technical systems to non-technical marketers.
High energy self-starter with a can-do attitude, and ability to learn quickly and work in a hyper-growth environment, while setting strategy and getting down in the weeds to get the job done.
Strong project management skills and experience working with PM tools; Workfront, Smartsheet, JIRA, etc
Experience working in SFDC with a good understanding of the common objects and member attribution.
Good understanding of data tables structures and relationships; SQL experience a plus
Experience working in the IT, Cybersecurity or B2B Enterprise industry a plus

Salary disclosure required by sb19-085 for positions located in the state of Colorado: If hired in Colorado, this position starts at a salary of $122,400/yr. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary. Restricted stock units and bonus pay may also be offered as part of this compensation package, as well as benefits that include: flexible paid time off, employee stock purchase program, medical, dental, vision, 401K, life, and disability insurance.
