As a Technical Project Manager, you'll help shape the team's work and enable them in their mission of ensuring the reliability of Cloud Environments and Products operated on them. You will work across Cloud Operations, Engineering, Product, Security and Finance.  Engaging in projects to gather, inform, track, and refine strategies, roadmaps, resources, and outcomes to ensure success.

This is a people management role.  Key to your success will be grit, the ability to navigate the complexities of a start-up organization, the ability to raise issues at critical times and use your judgement to act as you see fit.  You will be looked to as a trusted partner and problem solver, determinedly helping all stakeholders overcome obstacles and guiding solutions forward.

Essential Job duties and responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of CloudOps scope and mission: Operations, Security, Reliability
• Work with senior engineers to define roadmap and continuous improvement of cloud environments and services offered
• Translate business and engineering goals to teams, ensure teams are enabled to execute, assign work to teams
• Manage multiple resources, across time zones, teams, and technologies
• Ensure deadlines are met or inform issues as they arise
• Keep up to date on current and emerging technologies.

• People Management in technical roles (3+ Years’ experience, 10-20 engineers)
• Operations Role on AWS/Azure (2+ years)
• Python, Git, SQL, JSON/YAML, Infrastructure as code, understanding of Well-Architected Framework
• Deep delivery experience in multiple Agile practices: Kanban, Scrum, DevOps, etc.
• Excellent stakeholder management, reporting and communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures
• Experience delivering projects on cloud platforms

Pluses

• Working in a start-up culture
• Familiarity with SDLC
• Familiarity with modern team topologies
• ·Kubernetes experience
• AWS or Azure Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect
