Senior Data Scientist

Are you interested in being part of a small team to build the next-generation industry-leading platform for healthcare markets? We are looking for smart, passionate, and a highly skilled Data Scientist to join the effort to define and build the future of MacroHealth. You will be joining the Data team where we bring the power of data to our platform. The work you’ll do directly impacts our customers and business.

This position requires you to be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work with tight timelines, and handle various tasks simultaneously while continuing to develop a positive work culture. You will join a world-renowned leadership team with a track record of leading the development of multiple successful companies and products.

What you’ll do:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to gain deeper understanding of the data and discover new patterns and insights for further analysis or to support stakeholder decision-making
• Develop and test statistical and machine learning models
• Write code to build models and deploy them into production
• Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to deliver projects on time and enhance features delivered to customers
• Identify and evaluate relevant external data sources,
• Follow new research and technologies in the field of data science and apply as appropriate
• Demonstrate respect, teamwork, and a persistent focus on customer needs both internally and externally  

 What you’ll need:

• A degree in math, physics, statistics, computer science or engineering
• 7+ years of experience in machine learning and statistical analysis
• 5+ years of experience with Python
• 2+ years of experience in using distributed data processing systems such as Apache Spark for training and deploying machine learning models
• Experience working collaboratively as part of an agile product team with engineers and product managers
• Proven ability to document work clearly and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with Databricks, MLflow and/or Airflow is a plus
