Software Analyst

Infina is seeking a highly motivated Software Analyst to help assist in modernizing legacy software tools for cloud optimization.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop A-Level System/Subsystem Specification (SSS) requirements,
• B-Level Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Interface Control Specifications, Systems Engineering Modeling and Design, and Computer Human Interface, wireframe or mock-up development for the OARS system
• Interface with customer regarding development requirements, use cases describing human interactions and design decisions
• Work customer to obtain approvals for SDLC gate reviews such as System Requirements Review (SRR) and Software Design Review (SDR)
• Create the Features and User Stories with detailed Acceptance Criteria assigned in the Sprint Provide full SDLC requirements and systems engineering processes
• Participate in Backlog grooms and at time lead a Feature: developing it to smaller user stories and present it to team during backlog groom
• Modernize applications by improving the exchange of electronic data and implementing integrated solution
• Communicate with the users and stakeholders to determine requirements
• Providing support needed for software development, integration and test, and other functional areas
• Perform as the Scrum Master as needed

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area
• Must have at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Experience working in complex projects gathering user requirements and converting them into system requirements
• Willingness to perform or support system and integration testing activities
• Experience interfacing with customers and other functional areas regarding requirements, objectives, software, testing, etc.
• Experience with Agile software development methodology and techniques
• Familiarity cloud computing technologies such as AWS
• Hands on experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to provide project leadership
• Experience with 508 compliance

Desired Qualifications                                                                       

• Working knowledge of SysML and System Engineering modeling and design approach
• Understanding of the Atlassian Tool Suite
• Experience supporting Requirements Reviews with customer
• Familiarity with the National Air Space and FAA Safety systems or applications
