By encompassing an infusion of traditional and modern perspectives with sophisticated well-balanced editorial content and insightful commentary, the magazine intrigues, identifies with and informs its audience by exemplifying the image of today's male—establishing both tradition and trend.

The Lifestyle Journalist Intern will cover lifestyle-related content as it identifies with and relates to Man Of The Hour’s target demographic.

The candidate must possess an aptitude/interest in writing home product-related content as it relates to our target demographic.

The candidate must possess an aptitude/interest in writing about technology-related content as it relates to our target demographic.

The candidate must also possess an aptitude/interest in writing automotive-related content as it relates to our target demographic.

Responsibilities:  

Digital

• Write a monthly column presenting home products.

• Write a monthly column presenting a technology product or service.

• Write a monthly column presenting a mode of transportation.

Magazine

• Write one home, one technology, and one automotive product feature for the bi-annual magazine.

Duration: 6 months

Official Start Date: ASAP

This is a virtual and unpaid internship. Yet, you will gain valuable writing experience.

Preferably applicants should be a college undergraduate or graduate studying journalism or English (or a related field) and have prior writing/reporting experience with your school newspaper or another publication. All internships last for 6 months or longer (negotiable). Recent college graduates or dedicated writers/bloggers are also welcome to apply.

Note: Metro New York, Los Angeles & San Francisco residents strongly encouraged to apply, but location not required.
