The Community is seeking a super conceptual copywriter and art director team to join their Miami team. Under the supervision of and working closely with the team’s Executive Creative Director, this team will be responsible for concepting new ideas and expanding on future creative initiatives efforts for one the agency’s largest clients. This role will work closely with a tight community of Art Directors, Strategists, and Account team to establish the identity and personality of the target audience assigned. This role will be tasked to ensure that the team’s creative efforts are impactful. The role will be based in The Community’s Miami or NY office and is open to considering relocation talent within the US.
The Community leads with their passion to create inventive new concepts. This Conceptual Duo will develop, create and execute written communication strategies and tactics for assigned clients. This will include determining the tone, style, visual identify and structure of content based on client’s requirements but also helping push the clients further. This role will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the advertising process including initial idea creation to ensure anticipated creative ideas can be achieved based on the platform, technical and artistic needs, and budgets proposed.
Responsibilities:
Create succinct concepts for projects inclusive of big picture campaigns.
Lead the creative expansion of big picture concepts to be rolled out into 360 creative including: retail copy, radio, print, out of home, in store signage, etc.
Collaborate with the creative team on new business pitches to develop and shape brands and their messaging.
Interact with project teams to ensure tone, style and structure support the concept.
Actively contribute to strategic brainstorming campaign development, creative brief development and execution.
Present to clients and help sell through ideas.
Manage the roll out of campaigns.
Mentor and direct junior creative talent.
Requirements:
6-8 of experience in an ad agency in a copywriting or art direction role.
Fluency in English with written and oral communication.
Ability to concept long form and short form content.
Experience overseeing and/or mentoring junior creatives.
Outstanding creativity and ability and strong concept skills.
Ability to concept content in a wide variety of styles.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Bachelor’s in advertising or communications or foreign equivalent.
Experience working in an Art Director/Copywriter partnership.
Understanding of concepting content targeting multicultural audiences.
Any experience in the telecommunications sector is a plus.
Compensation Range: $75,00-$123,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
