Software Engineer - DevOps

You’ll work at the face of technology to build systems which will move and invest billions of dollars. You will collaborate across the company - from client services to operations to the engineering team - to maintain and improve the engineering operations that are the foundation of Farther’s success. You will identify critical problems, gather the right people and resources, and address them. You won’t be making tweaks to config files for features that no one cares about. You’ll be working closely with our CTO/Founder (MIT MS/MBA, Goldman Sachs) and VP of Engineering (Harvard PhD, EMC, Oracle).

• Identify blind spots in our engineering operations - You will creatively expose opportunities to gain visibility into what’s broken. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally - You will be a critical interface between teams to rally the resources needed to find innovative ways to solve critical problems.  
• Support amazing customer experiences - Your work will make everyone on the team more effective. With your help, our team will revolutionize how people finance their dreams.

• Nice to have: BA/BS Degree (or equivalent professional experience)
• Some work experience (1+ year) or an advanced degree
• Knowledge of or interest in functional programming (Scala, Haskell)
• Client-centered mentality
• Insatiable drive to grow
• Remote okay but must be based in US
